Bed and Breakfast

What is the deal with the bed and breakfast? Why are they so special? When people talk about a bed and breakfast vacation, they always rave about the cute little inns they stayed at. What's going on here? When you take a regular vacation, sure the hotel is nice. But people don't usually rave about the hotel unless it's $400 per night. And who can afford that?

The thing about a b&b is that they are privately owned - almost always. Also, bed and breakfast inns are usually in really cool old houses that have been converted into inns. This gives them amazing character and appeal. They are not generic. Usually every room is different and unique.

At a bed and breakfast, you will be served breakfast the next morning for free. Sure, many hotel chains include this now, but it's an "instant" meal that you have to serve to yourselve on plastic dishes. Not at a bnb. They will give a real meal. Usually very good.

Additionally, the bed and breakfast hotel is usually run by an owner. You may even have your morning meal served by them. Any way you slice it, you will have a better and more unique experience. Your vacation will have an additional memory that you will always remember. Your travel will be more fun and you will meet some people as well.

A b&b has the advantage of a personal touch and intimacy over a hotel. Those are two great advantages.
